It’s official.  Chris is NOW looking for a New Backup Singer for the band, preferably another woman to join them as it is an all girl fronted band.  If you know of anyone who is serious and is good, please refer them to the bands website so that either Chris can contact them or they can contact Chris.  Don’t forget the band is based out of San Francisco so make sure to keep that important factor in mind.

Hey Everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas and you received everything that you wanted or at least close to everything. 

As for those of you who called me up disappointed because you did not find waiting by your Christmas tree your one true love, your soul-mate hoping to fall madly in love this Christmas; there’s always New Years. Besides, I’m told that it always happens when you least expect it and with the one you least expect; so Do Not Give Up The Hope, you will find that special someone.  Perhaps all it takes is for you to open your eyes and look past the superficial and see how beautiful he or she truly is inside with all there imperfections, weakness and strengths; you never know … you may be pleasantly surprised that he or she has been by your side or right in front of you all this time.   

Ya Know …. one of these day’s I’m going to call in my retainers for all these therapy sessions and you are all going to be in the poor house LOL.  You guys are the best, thanks for being around and sharing in my life.

For those of you who are keeping up with the Band via this space or the bands web site www.findingstella.com.  It appears that it is true.  The band sadly will be short one talented musician Shoshannah Beck.

Shoshannah will be performing one last time with the Band in Australia in January 2008 whereby she will stay behind to pursue her new endeavors as the remaining Band Members make there way back home to the States.

I feel it’s appropriate to say that the Fans here in the States will miss her dearly. For those of you who have had the pleasure to have seen her perform with the band, I would say you have been fortunate.  Please continue to show your support for the Band,  after all they will still be a Kick Arse Band to be reckoned with.

En el dia de hoy, mas que nunca, quiero encontrarme, conmigo mismo, buscar en lo mas profundo de mi alma y mi corazón, sin dejar pasar por mi memoria, los nombres y apellidos de los mas sincero amigas y amigos, que han pasado por cada una de las paginas escritas de mi vida.

Los nombres que se hallan lejos de mi vida, que estuvieron y no se donde se encuentran, de los que tengo cerca, que están allí, cada vez que los necesito;

Los de mi niñez, adolescencia y madures;

Los que ya no veo con frecuencia y los que veo dia a dia, cuando amanece el Sol;

Los que siempre llevo en mi mente, y a los que en mi pensamiento muchas veces, no se me vienen;

Los que han estado en los mementos difíciles y a los que siempre comparten conmigo una sonrisa;

Los que por causa ajena ofendí y herí, y a los que tal vez, me hicieron brotar lagrimas en mi rostro;

Con los que aprendí grandes lecciones, y con los que ojala les haya dejado algo de mí.

Anhelo, que pasen a hacer parte de mi alma siempre,

Los nombres y apellidos de mis amigos y amigas, para que queden marcados en mi existencia, aquellos nombres, que ya no están y se encuentran, más halla de la línea horizontal, de la vida,

Los cuales, los llevo en cada una de mis oraciones, y los nombres que se estacionaron, solo por una estación en mi vida y tomaron su rumbo; aquellos nombres que todavía no conozco, pero seguro marcaran pauta en mi vida, y mi nombre en la de ellos.

Le doy gracias aquellos amigas y amigos, que han estado cuando estoy triste y me siento sola, que con tan solo una palabra, te dan aliento del bueno, que cuando uno se quiere distanciar, ellos están ahí, para hacerte compañía, dando siempre una sonrisa y prestando su hombro, para ser muletas, que muchas veces uno necesita.

Porque definitivamente la amistad es el Casamiento del alma, que va mas allá de un momento grato, la amistad, es el sentir de lo que padece la otra persona, una verdadera amistad no tiene tiempo, edad, color, sexo, ni cualquier barrera, la esencia de la amistad, es el apoyo incondicional, pase lo que pase, aceptando los defectos y realzando las virtudes de cada ser humano.

En este momento de reflexión, quiero que se convierta, cada espina, en un jardín de rosas blancas, cada lágrima en miles de sonrisas y abrazos fraternales, cada tiniebla, en luminosas estrellas, que floten en el universo y que de cada sufrimiento, nazca un sentimiento de felicidad.

Mil gracias por encontrarse, o por haber estado en mi vida, gracias a cada uno de ustedes, por dejarme estar o haber estado, en cada una de sus historias, deseo de toda mi alma que me hayan llevado, que me lleven y que siempre este en el tiempo y en el espacio que me necesiten, porque acá estoy, he estado y estaré hasta que dios me lo permita.

Agradecida a la vida, por cada uno de esos nombres, que marcaron pauta en las líneas de mi vida y los que tal vez marcaran lo que falte de ella, ya que, de cada nombre he aprendido, aprendo y aprenderé.  Ese es el ciclo de una parte de la vida.

It’s an amazing thing when a baby’s words and way of greeting you can erase an entire bad day you had, making it all seem so trivial and put a smile of happiness back on your face and heart as my 11 month old baby niece Leena did for me last night.

As I entered my home . . .  in the middle of the living room . . .  in her play pen occupied with her dolls was my baby niece who for the most part was unaware of my presence until my Labs came running to greet me by the door.  At that moment when she realized I was home she jumped up with such excitement, a big smile on her face and her arms extended out and said "Titi” twice for the first time …. Mind you that she still has not said mommy or daddy …….  So of course, I melted.  I grabbed her out of the play pen kissed her all up and hugged her tight as she laid her little head on my shoulder and little arms wrapped around my neck happy to see me.  At that moment everything felt right and good, nothing else mattered.  I spent the rest of the evening playing with her and finally gave her a bottle and laid her to sleep.

Later that same evening when everything was quiet, I started to think and wonder how great it would be if most of US could learn from that and act towards each other in the same manner as my baby niece did.

To be able to come home to your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend or partner who greets you with a sincere smile of happiness and say ….. Hi Babe, Hi Honey, Hi Sweetie….. hugging and holding you tight as if you were gone for way too long, missing you, kissing you …..  and in that moment relieve the pressures, stresses and craziness from the day to day routine of life prior to you having to attend to your obligations for the evening. 

What a wonderful and beautiful thought.

Thank you Baby Girl for reminding me of the simple beautiful things.
