FINDING STELLA's Backup Singer
I hope this New Year has Chris bombarded with a line up of girls trying out to be the new backup singer for the band, after all it is a KICK A - - Band of Rising Stars. Okay Chris . . . work your magic, stop playing and just pick the best one out of the hundreds ... or is it thousands of potential backup singers and get back to work doing what you do so damn good which is singing and writing those engaging, sassy songs that we all look forward to
Speaking of songs, there is only one more song left that we have not played from the album “Famous” and that is "True Hearts". Enjoy Everyone.
FINDING STELLA Is Looking For A New Backup Singer
It’s official. Chris is NOW looking for a New Backup Singer for the band, preferably another woman to join them as it is an all girl fronted band. If you know of anyone who is serious and is good, please refer them to the bands website so that either Chris can contact them or they can contact Chris. Latest News On FINDING STELLA
For those of you who are keeping up with the Band via this space or the bands web site www.findingstella.com. It appears that it is true. The band sadly will be short one talented musician Shoshannah Beck.
Shoshannah will be performing one last time with the Band in Australia in January 2008 whereby she will stay behind to pursue her new endeavors as the remaining Band Members make there way back home to the States.
I feel it’s appropriate to say that the Fans here in the States will miss her dearly. For those of you who have had the pleasure to have seen her perform with the band, I would say you have been fortunate. Please continue to show your support for the Band, after all they will still be a Kick Arse Band to be reckoned with.
Best of Luck to Shosh!
To the Band Members: Chris, Tim, Vic, Rich & Louis you remain a strong and talented band so keep doing what you do so well; Rock The House down.
With that said, back to playing the remaining songs from the band.
The next song to be played is called "In The Hall" enjoy.

Ang Giving FINDING STELLA A Temporary Break
This week I will be giving you a temporary break in the followings of “Finding Stella” & auto playing of there music. I don’t want you to get bored with the band so I will be playing some different style music just to switch up a little.
Don’t worry; you can still listen to every single one of “Finding Stella” songs by clicking on the songs to the left under the windows media player. I will be auto-playing there music again shortly so make sure to check back. Another thing; Finding Stella seems to be synonymous with Chris Snyder due to her credit and musical talent and also because Chris is mentioned first as the lead singer to the Band. Yet just as talented and supportive are the band members consisting of Rich, Shoshannah & Louis who bring with them there own sense of style, personality and musical influences. Now if you noticed …. Yes …. There are two more band members that I have yet to mention and I have left them for last. After reading a few articles about the band, I feel that these two individuals Victoria Ovieda: Rhythm Guitar & Percussion of the Band & Tim Christmon: Drummer, deserve a Special Recognition & Thank You. Victoria “Vic” & Tim seem to be the two that have been with Chris the longest and from what I’m being told by other friends in the music industry; that kind of loyalty, support and belief in each other especially in the music world seems to be hard to find and even more so as an independent band. So Again; A Very Special Thank You to Victoria & Tim for making the band that much stronger. With that said and before we take the temporary break, I have a little bit of interesting info which also had me curious and that is; Where did the name of the band “Finding Stella” come from? According to an article I read on the band, the name was inspired by Victoria, at a time when she unfortunately lost her pet hamster Stella and whose name “Stella” also means “shining star”. So there you have it, the origin of the name and band “Finding Stella”.
Holiday's & Up Coming Gig For The BandWell Hello There!
Long time no talk, how the hell is everyone doing?! Time is flying so fast; can you believe that soon it will be Christmas! Can't wait to see the new Christmas pic's of my niece & nephew "the vidal twins" back in florida.
So is it getting crazy by you guys & girls or what, It is here in the desert. Unfortunately here, it's not really looking much like the Christmas holiday but the shopping frenzie with it's lack of patience and some tad bit short tempers is a definite reminder that we are in the holiday season / mode, so stay safe everyone.
Okay, it's time once again to switch out the bands song. This weeks song is a sassy one, sung by Chris called "Good Girl". Enjoy.
By The Way! Chris & The Band will be performing this Friday Dec 7th at their home turf in San Franisco so check out there website to see how it all went.
Have Fun & Best of luck on Friday to Victoria, Tim, Shosh, Rich, Chris & Louis.
Take Care, Tight Hug & Cool Aide Smile,
Ang Touching BaseI have to say some of you are definitely giving me a run for my money as the saying goes or you just want to see how long I will last before I crash and burn with this new website project of mine. At the same time the e-mails of your smart arse remarks; off the wall suggestions and just being yourself, have me laughing so hard that my stomach hurts and I have all of you to thank for that. Keep it coming, it's highly missed, YOU are highly missed.
With that said, and in trying to cater to some of your better suggestions/request to hear a song that Shoshannah Beck sings, It's time to switch the bands song this week to "In My Bed".
Past song's that have already been played are: "I would"; "Everytime"
As always, it's a wrap people, Catch Up With Me If You Can.

Ang Part 2 - FINDING STELLATime to Touch Base with Everyone Again,
I want to say "Thank You" and "You are the best" to those who so far have had the opportunity to step up, listen to the bands music and leave such supportive comments about them. I knew that you would, yet it's great to actually see it. Your excitement in there music is mutual. They have an amazing talent. In light of all the nice things that are being said about the band and your show of support .... I would like to make one point clear. Most of you know how I am when it comes to giving what I can of myself to help someone or in this case "Finding Stella". However, for the very few who may not know me in that respect, and may be misunderstanding the million dollar question that everyone seems to be commenting about in the guestbookl "When is Finding Stella going to Florida / East Coast"?, please do not assume that I have changed careers and gone into the promotion business which is completely NOT the case with "Finding Stella". I have become a supportive friend who loves there music, believes in them and wants to see them make it and succeed in the music world, offering what little help that I can, be it through this webpage, word of mouth and more exposure to all of you who are in the East Coast. So, only Chris Snyder and the Band can answer that. All I can say is ... Everthing In It's Time.
Chris Snyder who is not only the lead singer of "Finding Stella" is now also responsible for every aspect of the Management of the band, from booking, touring, and perhaps even the financial obligations along with everything else that comes with getting a band out in the public.
In the Meantime, continue your support to them by checking back to their website www.findingstella.com. You just never know when they will be able to make it and put on an awesome musical show for the East Coast.
As for my continued support. I will have a new song of there's playing each week and this week's new song is "Everytime".
For those of you who want to listen to a more softer song, check out: "I would"; "True Hearts"; "Paid" or "In My Bed". I believe that Shoshannah Beck takes the lead on these song's, but don't be fooled, Shoshannah is just as sexy and powerful in the vocal's.
As always, It's a wrap people ..... Take Care,
Ang
A SPECIAL Intro to FINDING STELLA - Calling In the FavorsTonight's Entry is a Special One.
I want to take this opportunity to introduce a very special band called "FINDING STELLA". I was introduced to there music by a good friend of mine who knows the band members. A special thank you on my part goes out to Chris Snyder the lead singer for two reasons: One for which she already knows why, and Two for allowing me the opportunity to put this together as a small token of my support for the band. I promise you will like them also... and if you don't believe me .... here is what the press is saying about them , verbatium .......... "Finding Stella entered the San Francisco music scene in early 2000 and quickly established themselves as one of the best original acts in the Bay Area! Their music intergrates the classic rock and pop spirit of the 70s and 80s with a newer, warmer rock quality that has been drawing new audiences from along the West coast and beyond. Singer/songwriter Chris Snyder along with Shoshannah Beck, Tim Christmon, Rich Flynn, Victoria Ovieda and Louis Stein attribute many different influences and styles to their music; smoothly jumping from classic rock to pop to funk - creating a rich rock sound. The power of vocalist Snyder quickly fills the senses of the discerning music lover." There you have it, it's not just me that thinks they are awesome. So here is where I call in the Favor. Please give the band a shot, listen to their new release albumn called "FAMOUS" by clicking on one of the song's in my list above, and check out their website which is www.findingstella.com add comments in my GUESTBOOK to show your support, and / or what you think about the band in general. Last & Most Important: Remember; all rights are reserved by "Finding Stella" so PLEASE respect the band's copyright of music as well as the pictures that were taken of them by their Professional Photographer Merici Trujillo. Well Everyone; it's a wrap ... Catch up with me when you can, Take Care Ang
