I hope this New Year has Chris bombarded with a line up of girls trying out to be the new backup singer for the band, after all it is a KICK A - - Band of Rising Stars.  Okay Chris  . . . work your magic, stop playing and just pick the best one out of the hundreds ... or is it thousands of potential backup singers and get back to work doing what you do so damn good which is singing and writing those engaging, sassy songs that we all look forward to 

 

Speaking of songs, there is only one more song left that we have not played from the album “Famous” and that is "True Hearts".  Enjoy Everyone.

 

 

Hey Everyone,

 

Here we are 2008. I hope everyone had a great New Year. Sorry that I was not able to split myself up and share in the New Year with every one of you as you partied hardy, however I carried you all with me.

 

So … now all of you have a clean slate once again to fill up and that’s a scary thought with some of you .  Yes I know, it wouldn’t be you if you didn’t … right….I got it. At least whatever your plans or aspirations are Go For It & Make it Count.  You won’t know unless you try and if you try whole heartedly you just never know it may be great and if it doesn’t work than you can hold your head up high and say “At least I tried” instead of wondering, and that is something that can never be taken away from you.  Remember … it’s the experiences, the people, the memories and the journey that gives that which you are trying to attain (be it small or grand) its value or worth.

 

 

It’s official.  Chris is NOW looking for a New Backup Singer for the band, preferably another woman to join them as it is an all girl fronted band.  If you know of anyone who is serious and is good, please refer them to the bands website so that either Chris can contact them or they can contact Chris.  Don’t forget the band is based out of San Francisco so make sure to keep that important factor in mind.

Hey Everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas and you received everything that you wanted or at least close to everything. 

 

As for those of you who called me up disappointed because you did not find waiting by your Christmas tree your one true love, your soul-mate hoping to fall madly in love this Christmas; there’s always New Years. Besides, I’m told that it always happens when you least expect it and with the one you least expect; so Do Not Give Up The Hope, you will find that special someone.  Perhaps all it takes is for you to open your eyes and look past the superficial and see how beautiful he or she truly is inside with all there imperfections, weakness and strengths; you never know … you may be pleasantly surprised that he or she has been by your side or right in front of you all this time.   

 

Ya Know …. one of these day’s I’m going to call in my retainers for all these therapy sessions and you are all going to be in the poor house LOL.  You guys are the best, thanks for being around and sharing in my life.

 

 

 

For those of you who are keeping up with the Band via this space or the bands web site www.findingstella.com.  It appears that it is true.  The band sadly will be short one talented musician Shoshannah Beck.

 

Shoshannah will be performing one last time with the Band in Australia in January 2008 whereby she will stay behind to pursue her new endeavors as the remaining Band Members make there way back home to the States.

 

I feel it’s appropriate to say that the Fans here in the States will miss her dearly. For those of you who have had the pleasure to have seen her perform with the band, I would say you have been fortunate.  Please continue to show your support for the Band,  after all they will still be a Kick Arse Band to be reckoned with.

En este momento de reflexión, quiero que se convierta, cada espina, en un jardín de rosas blancas, cada lágrima en miles de sonrisas y abrazos fraternales, cada tiniebla, en luminosas estrellas, que floten en el universo y que de cada sufrimiento, nazca un sentimiento de felicidad.

It’s an amazing thing when a baby’s words and way of greeting you can erase an entire bad day you had, making it all seem so trivial and put a smile of happiness back on your face and heart as my 11 month old baby niece Leena did for me last night.

 

As I entered my home . . .  in the middle of the living room . . .  in her play pen occupied with her dolls was my baby niece who for the most part was unaware of my presence until my Labs came running to greet me by the door.  At that moment when she realized I was home she jumped up with such excitement, a big smile on her face and her arms extended out and said "Titi” twice for the first time …. Mind you that she still has not said mommy or daddy …….  So of course, I melted.  I grabbed her out of the play pen kissed her all up and hugged her tight as she laid her little head on my shoulder and little arms wrapped around my neck happy to see me.  At that moment everything felt right and good, nothing else mattered.  I spent the rest of the evening playing with her and finally gave her a bottle and laid her to sleep.

 

Later that same evening when everything was quiet, I started to think and wonder how great it would be if most of US could learn from that and act towards each other in the same manner as my baby niece did.

 

To be able to come home to your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend or partner who greets you with a sincere smile of happiness and say ….. Hi Babe, Hi Honey, Hi Sweetie….. hugging and holding you tight as if you were gone for way too long, missing you, kissing you …..  and in that moment relieve the pressures, stresses and craziness from the day to day routine of life prior to you having to attend to your obligations for the evening. 

 

What a wonderful and beautiful thought.

 

Thank you Baby Girl for reminding me of the simple beautiful things.

I have to say some of you are definitely giving me a run for my money as the saying goes or you just want to see how long I will last before I crash and burn with this new website project of mine.  At the same time the e-mails of your smart arse remarks; off the wall suggestions and just being yourself, have me laughing so hard that my stomach hurts and I have all of you to thank for that.  Keep it coming, it's highly missed, YOU are highly missed. 

 

With that said, and in trying to cater to some of your better suggestions/request to hear a song that Shoshannah Beck sings, It's time to switch the bands song this week to "In My Bed".

Last night I came across this piece which I kept and put away awhile ago.

Even now, In reading it again, despite what was going on at the moment, it made me stop and think about the many things in life and how our day to day routine sometime's doesn't allow us that quietness of reflection or that little bit of happines that we all seek.  In endng .... I had a cool aide smile on my face as I came to appreciate once again, all the beautiful things that are in my life which is all of  YOU.

When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world:

And I decided to shorten my sights somewhat and change only my country.  But it too seemed immovable.

As I entered my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I sought to change only my family, those closest to me, but alas they would have none of it.

And now here I lie on my deathbed and realize herein (perhaps for the frist time) that if only I'd change myself first, then by example

I may have influenced my family and with their encouragement and support

I may have bettered my country, and who knows,

Time to Touch Base with Everyone Again,

 

I want to say "Thank You" and "You are the best" to those who so far have had the opportunity to step up, listen to the bands music and leave such supportive comments about  them.  I knew that you  would, yet it's great to actually see it.   Your excitement in there music is mutual.  They have an amazing talent.   In light of all the nice things that are being said about the band and your show of support ....  I would like to make one point clear.  Most of you know how I am when it comes to giving what I can of myself to help someone or in this case "Finding Stella".   However, for the very few who may not know me in that respect, and may be misunderstanding the million dollar question that everyone seems to be commenting about in the guestbookl "When is Finding Stella going to Florida / East Coast"?, please do not assume that I have changed careers and gone into the promotion business which is completely NOT the case with "Finding Stella".    I have become a supportive friend who loves there music, believes in them and wants to see them make it and succeed in the music world, offering what little help that I can, be it through this webpage, word of mouth and more exposure to all of you who are in the East Coast.    So, only Chris Snyder and the Band can answer that.  All I can say is ... Everthing In It's Time. 

 

Chris Snyder who is not only the lead singer of  "Finding Stella" is now also responsible for every aspect of the Management of the band, from booking, touring, and perhaps even the financial obligations along with everything else that comes with getting a band out in the public.  

 

In the Meantime, continue your support to them by checking back to their website www.findingstella.com.  You just never know when they will be able to make it and put on an awesome musical show for the East Coast.

 

As for my continued support.  I will have a new song of there's playing each week and this week's new song is "Everytime".

I give thanks for those that have been by my side when I was sad and lonely; who have given a shoulder to cry or lean on unconditionally; who with just a kind word was enough to give me the strength to continue and even with the distance you still remain near through the phone calls and the the e-mails.  For all those who have left there mark in the pages of my life through laughter, kindness, goodness and compassion and for those special people yet to come into my life.  You are in my thoughts always and I am ever so grateful and fortunate.

Tonight's Entry is a Special One.

Before anything I have to mention that things happen for a reason.   Earlier today, I wrote that I was having major problems with loading the Media Play to play music and up until now frustration was settling in and I was getting no where.   Well, I decided to call the best person I knew could help me ... my baby brothe JoJo ... yup same guy with the red and white eyes in the pic's.    With the tremendous help he gave, we kicked butt, were successful, and it's just in time for you to listen to some really good music.   Thank You Baby Bro, Love You and You are the MAN.    NOW... IT'S TIME TO CALL IN THE FAVORS.

Okay, so as you can see, we have a bunch of clowns on this site, beginning with family and ending with friends ....  It's great.  That is what makes life enjoyable.  Thank you guys & girls.  As for my baby brother saying I have a 50 year old pic of him, it's only because that's how old he is feeling, even though he is still wet behind the ear's in his early twenties.  I tell you, youngster's, got to love them.

 

As you can see, still no media player and its driving me crazy...it's really giving me problems or maybe I'm just burning out which is possible.  You know me, I don't give up that easy, so I will.... get that darn media player to play music and wait until you hear what music is coming your way, your going to love it, trust me, and if you don't love it then you better pretend, because you love me and you need to cater to my dillusions LOL....Wow, I wonder where I get that sense of humor or is it sarcasim.  Okay, so maybe I'm not that funny, be nice LOL.

WOW, The feedback on this is fantastic.  THANK YOU SO SO MUCH.  I'm glad that so far everyone is really liking this page. It's turning out to be everything that I have expected little by little.  All of you are awesome and I love you for that. 

 

Okay, so it's time to get back to some of you on your questions. 

 

First, I will start with DONNA.  My wonderful, inner strength "beautiful looking" Cousin Donna;  and yes you are beautiful, and If I have to keep telling you that for you to belive it, I will.   YES, you were the first to sign my guest book and it was great. Despite what dear cousin Donna said about NOT having a life and always being on the computer, well the truth is I believe her to still be living in Wedding Blizz with her princess charming of a husband Scott and actually living a good and happy life, besided that I'M always the one on the computer NOT her, so there you have it.

 

My Dear Friend Joshie baby.  I will hopefully be coming down to Florida to see you sooner than you think, and I too miss those exciting boheiman nights, but you have to maintain that good boy fasad because I won't be coming to save you this time, I will be coming to have fun, get it, got it, good

 

And for the mystery person with "no name" who signed my guest book and was inquiring on the beautiful vidal twins. That would be who I call, my strength, my confidant without a second thought, the sister I never had, and the wonderful mother to those same beatutiful twins; My Cousin Tara.    I miss you dearly coz.  As for wanting to see more of my professional pic's, that will be coming with time as well.  I'm starting to put my portfolio together and once that is done it will be easier to transfer over to the site.  Right now I'm trying to set the foundation for this site, clean it up a bit and then eventually get everything to come together.  You know me coz .... I usually have more than one project going on at any given time which ends up taking a little longer then normal to complete.  Besides ...  how else will I keep you coming back to the site to see what's new   

 

Hopefully some of you have had a chance to take a look at this site and are liking the way its coming alone.  For those of you who have not had the chance, where are you and what are you doing;  you are depriving me of your wonderful attention (feel the love)  .   Okay, enough of the smart A-- remarks so back to what is still in the works.

 

Since I'm still trying to fine tune this and get this closer to what I envision,  I'm continuing to add and revamp things.  My next challenge is trying to figure out how to get the music player on and get it to work.  That way... when you check back to the web site I will have some nicey nicey music playing in the background while you browse and critique my insanity   Opps I mean my creativeness.
